Can Children Perform CPR?

CPR

Who says children can’t save lives?

Children as young as 9 years old can learn and retain the information. They just often won’t have the strength to compress the chest properly until their teen years.

The American Heart Association doesn’t mandate a minimum age requirement to learn CPR. The ability to perform CPR is based more on body strength than age.

Our family has been in the “real and “frightening” situation of a loved one being unresponsive and needing rescue breaths. This class should be taken by every family member as it provides a safe space to learn, practice and ask questions.
Beth and Kristin facilitate an environment that is fun while also learning life saving techniques. Our entire family is grateful for what they are doing for the community!! #1FAN

Our Friends & Family class is a perfect class for your child to attend. This course teaches the life saving skills of Adult/Child/Infant CPR, how to relieve mild and severe airway block and AED use.

By introducing the topic of CPR early you are equipping your child with a life-saving skill that they can carry with them forever.
